Day 3 #The Toll#

Mildkjsf asked for more here :)
Upon waking up in the cabin, i said goodbye to sir Thomas who was heading for a conference which will keep him busy until late Sunday. While waking up i tried to gather my thoughts from the night before, which i try to do every morning tho, not being hungover helped :)After everybody woke up lady Kate and miss Lisa who went bird watching early that morning made us porridge. Never did understand the appeal of birdwatching tho, not even sure if that's entirely  a foreign thing, u have this book and u see what kinds u can find in a place Ur at....I guess it could be fun if u get to eat them afterward, but i tend to think that about most things that don't tickle my interest like painting train spotting  etc. :)))

Seldom few make a happy face after kicked by mina in the groin.
la funge la la la
We decided to see the lake which was near by and the terrible Troll guarding it. We went for a hike which lasted about 10 minutes all uphill, which with my bum leg i hurt yesterday was no picnic....Uh i lie I'm a lazy bastard and from Vojvodina we have no concept of angles when it comes to waking and like our country side like we like our beer flat and greenish after a few weeks out of the fridge :) We reached the fabled Trolla and made offering in form of marzipan and penis shaped fungi. Some loggers wanted to cut the arms of the Troll so they can transport lumber easier, but with much protest by the locals the were forced to use alternative methods. I have a feeling this might not have been the case in Serbia, we'd probably cut him and try to hunt down his family as well. With the Troll content we headed out to see the lake which was owned by Thomases family for generations, must be strange owning a lake or maybe even stranger not owning one :) I once owned a puddle in Kula  i called it Tina, tho sadly she went away with a first wave of heat :(  The lake itself was not huge, but boy like most things in Norway™it was really beautiful with the reflection of the forest from the other side it really made no effort in inspiring nothing but awe.

it was called SS Peanut, which in Norway means yellow bearded god i think
Coming back from our little hike(downhill now buahaha) we went for a little dip, where the lowering of the tide revealed a rock near the shore where u can rest up. With no jelly fish about the sea was ours to play with, we fooled around the rock and even Mina joined in, for about 20 seconds but that was more than we needed ;))) Our rule soon came to an end when a wave brought the nasty jellies back. We needed to catch a ferry back to Oslo so we headed out, catching a bus and the ferry afterward, the bus was well, what you'd expect from a bus not smelling like pee and ketchup, quite nice :) We took the ferry which came almost immediately, finally we were seaworthy, tho it was only a ferry boat i still have the sense we were conquering the seas.

OK maybe we can share the primary thing ;)
Deciding not to take the bus home, we walked around the city, to get a feel for it a bit. We saw a truly metropolitan city.Since  my battery gave out on the ferry i took no better pictures of it, lucky for us we always have a backup photographer. Me being the primary one ;) Kate in her tradition made us an awesome meal, and meat this time, which i have to say didn't miss too much, i like the idea of having a fishy based diet for a while, diet in a sense of stuff I eat, not its quantity. :D We washed up and decided to make it movie night.

Brain teasers are not a good thing at midnight
It was Sunday after all, so we decided to make it movie night, the movie we chosen was The Road. A charming road trip with babes guns and an occasional cannibal :) Hm, maybe this movie wasn't such a good idea, lucky for us it was a good movie, despite it's more or less gritty tale, plus the tons of chocolate beside us kinda helped :D

After the movie we decided to call it a night, and see what the next day had in store for us, which we decided to do some good ol' fashion Serbian exploring, which is the same as any other exploring apart from the fact that we wore no pants :)
